For all of your postering, name calling and anger issues.. you've yet to explain how UT will come up with the expected $50 million it will take to buy out Pruitt and pay for an established coach when facing a nearly $50 million loss this year.
It's bad enough you have to lie about my blind support of Pruitt when I've repeatedly said I'm not convinced Pruitt is the answer but you've yet to give anything close to a legitimate resolution to UT's problem .
Since you know all the answers you should know theres no UT donors willing to give anything close to $50 million. You seem to be the most vocal ..how much are you giving to buy out Pruitt and Fulmer? How much are you giving to hire a name coach and AD?
Come on coach ...or is it money bags?
Wheres your checkbook?

Back at you with the memes.
I didn't post a meme. I posted a fence post for you to argue with.

Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

He signed on to coach TN and waited 45 days to do so ......

He agreed to be Head Coach with that understanding

if you think recruiting out of Tuscaloosa with Saban over your shoulder is the same as being in Knoxville fully devoted to your employer then I don’t know what to tell you . And the relationship thing doesn’t fly either .... each coach at ALA probably signs 6-10 kids out of the 100s they recruit.

Most of whom had already found a home and wanted no part of the Shit show Tn. had become with all the hiring's, firings, coaching search fiasco, etc

He was at ALA for what 2 years ?? No reason Fulmer shouldn’t have demanded he start earning his paycheck immediately.

Now you are grasping at straws.

Bottom line you and others are looking to fight and try to beat people into submission to your views. Not going to happen.

Meanwhile while FB sorts it self out enjoy the basketball team, it could be very special this year.

Have a Happy and Safe New Year

We take you at your word.
And we can assume you're not either. Judging from some of your misleading statements and lack of knowledge about UT the only thing you know about UT is how to bitch and complain.
Unfortunately UT has an abundance of people like you . They don't take the time to find out what's going on but spend their time listening to talk shows that make their money putting idiots on the radio that are always angry and uninformed.
Misery likes company so I'm sure you'll find someone that will take you serious.
Happy New Year.

blah, blah, blah.....nothingness.

Happy New Year to you and yours, as well.

One day we will all be happy again with the direction and results of the football program.

It’s been a long time.  And I look forward to it.

Dan...have you noticed that none of these "critics" want to answer the question I keep asking.
It would be great to be able to hire a Saban or Urban Myer  or some other "flavor of the week" coach" but no one wants to address how we pay for it when facing a millions of dollars in losses this year.  We have no reserve since we've been paying off fired coaches for 12 years now.
I keep asking and they keep coming back with insults and no solution.
Oh well...maybe they're out fund raising to payoff the buyouts and hiring  super coaches...we can only hope!

I don't where you learned math but even your estimates aren't even close fifty million is a big exaggeration on your part to make it look like WE GOT TO KEEP HIM. Poor roadie your afraid your hero is gonna get fired.   :'(

Since we really don't know the status of the investigation or what violations actually occurred your big guess at what it would take to terminate all contracts would be enough to include Fulmer, the Chancellor and all coaches at TN

UT will get more money than that from their share of bowl and television revenue from the conference. Not to include the outrageous increases in tuition over the past ten years or the millions in donations they receive annually.

UT doesn't have a revenue problem like congress they have a spending and a moron problem running the athletic department.

One other think when a new coach is hired the money isn't paid up front so that isn't figured in.

Question answered.

SNIP:

A head coaching change means a staff change, too. Add in sweeping staff buyouts, and UT would owe about $18.6 million in severance payments for a full football staff change, using Jan. 1 as the firing date for Pruitt's staff, according to a Knox News analysis of the staff's contracts and buyout terms.

You do the math....we buy out Pruitt and his entire staff plus the AD
...$20 million easy.
Hire a name coach and 2 year minimum for a new staff $ 30+ million.plus a new AD
If I'm off its on the low side.
FYI..SEC revenue for teams last year was $45 million and it won't be close to that this year.

UT yeah!
