It is criminal that the UGA/Arky game gets the noon timeslot instead of the 6 PM ESPN slot.

Dumb.

That actually looks like pretty good guesses to me.  Haven't watched Ole Miss but if the offense is as good as people say then maybe they hit more than 20.

Seems like it would've been good weeks for Ole Miss and Arkansas to be at home.  Maybe they sneak away with one in their home stadium, but probably not on the road.  If, on the other hand, Arkansas goes into Athens and wins, then I'm all in and you won't convince me otherwise until somebody beats them.

I can't figure out who I like in LSU/Auburn.  On the one hand AU looked pretty rotten Saturday, as rough as I've ever seen them.  On the other hand I have no confidence in a team to win SEC matches that can't run the ball.  MSU probably wins last weekend if Leach didn't pull his usual Leachisms.  And the terrible penalty on the punt...really shot themselves in the foot.  I also can't get 2012 out of my head when a 10-3 LSU team clawed a 12-10 victory from a 3-9 Auburn squad.  Although that was at Auburn, maybe the drunk cajuns with a 8 pm kickoff can rattle the visitors.

I have not been high on Auburn all year and they've done nothing to persuade me otherwise.  I think LSU still has some talent, somewhere.  I expect TOs from Auburn to be definitive.

USCe to me just looks lost, so I go with the upset to Troy.  You are right that Arky needs a home game here, but it's not to be, and Athens will be rocking.

Florida is interesting, I pondered their having one of those down efforts against a rather feisty UK team, but nope.  I don't know if I'd pick Vandy over anyone right now, their team looked superslow.

I haven't really watched any of east teams other than Florida and Georgia.  Did not get to see UGA's game last weekend, so still no Vanderbilt.  Seems plausible that they're terrible.   Still don't know what awaits LSU later at Kentucky.

The UGA-Vandy game would reveal nothing beyond that Vandy is historically bad, I think, as bad as they have ever been.  At one point late in the game, UGA had more points than Vandy had yards.

Good job. Can't disagree with any of your picks. I don't think Arkansas can hold Georgia to 27 points and don't think A&M can score 37 points on anybody, though.

Bama getting run on by Florida MIGHT be a good thing for them in their game against Ole Miss.
MAYBE Kiffin saw that and how plans to run more than he ordinarily would and it plays into the shored-up Bama run D.

Of course, and more likely, Kiffin has Corral toss it 50 times and is able to exploit the Bama pass D, which is something Florida didn't/couldn't really do.

I kinda love how the Gators knocked the Tide down a peg, at least in terms of national perception.

Are you eager to play Florida again?  With our video-game backup QB added in?

I am not at all concerned with playing Florida again. Florida did Alabama a favor. Alabama now knows it has to play for four quarters similar to last year's Ole Miss game.

Leach has a history of success vs A&M. I think we can put up points.  The question is can we slow them down enough?  I think MSU will put up between 24-31.  I’m not sure our offense can out do that but if we can get the ground game going we can pound the ball and keep them off the field.
