Florida wasn't flat.... UK just punched them I the jawls... over and over.

UK flares a few times a season under Stoops.  When they figure out how to sustain it they'll be dangerous.

Tennessee looked real good today.  Many of the mizzou points were when UT was rotating in the bench, which started in the third.

Is Kentucky bad?  3 straight 1-possession wins, vs Mizzou, Chattanooga, and Carolina.  Why are they only a 7.5 point dog to the Gators??

Aside from it being Florida's first real road game (had more fans than USF did in Tampa), I can't think of why.
Did not age well, I have some of my own.

Florida had the same problem that Alabama had at Florida; they could not hear the signals which resulted in eight false starts and defeat. I thought the game was a toss up from the start and it was. I didn't think Kentucky fans could make that much noise at a football game. Congratulations to the Wildcats.

You'd think SEC teams would be used to noise by now.  It appeared to impact Arky as well, and was their first true road game.

My GUESSES:

UGA 27  Arky 17
Mizzou 30  Tenn 20
Bama 45  Ole Miss 20  Pretty close

Troy 26  USCe 24
Florida 34  UK 17
A&M 37  MSU 31

Uconn 29  Vandy 17
LSU 26  Auburn 20
I don't think I've ever been that far off before.  I was close on the LSU score.  Wrong on the winner.

Congrats to Vandy!  And UK of course, that second Florida loss gives the Dawgs a lot more room obviously, but they still need to run the table and get to Atlanta.

What a ass whooping, the false starts didn't help, but the Dawgs lines are head and shoulders above anything the Hogs have faced to date. Gratz!

I think UGA played above their ability to some extent, the crowd clearly was a factor.  I was surprised how well they ran the ball when it was clear they were going to run the ball, Arky did not seem to adjust effectively.

And now A&M went from contender to fighting for last place in the SEC-W.

Extremely frustrating, we’ve never been able to sustain success. It’s a given that we will follow up a 10+ win season with a 5-7 win season. Not even sure we’re going to make it to 5 wins at this point.

A&M looks a bit, well, lost, or something.  I caught part of the game last night between UK-UF.  (I figured UK would blow it late.)

Losing Mond was significant, I thought they were ranked too high preseason, but I expected a 9-3 kind of thing, maybe 8-4.  I thought UNC was overranked, somewhat because teams that do well one year without that history behind them often drop back the next year.

Dominant showing by UGA.  The pigs aren't as bad as UGA made them look.

I was surprised how much the crowd was not a factor in Baton Rouge.  On tv it looked like a lot of vacant seats and the crowd was not lively.  I texted a buddy who was there because tv can be deceptive on both fronts, but he confirmed many vacancies and the crowd was not into it sans some Auburn 3rd downs.  I don't know if the people are hurricane weary, fed up with the program, or something else.  But that's a weird environment for a night game against a division opponent, most especially Auburn.

The LSU-UK game probably is more important than might be evident at first.
