I think Florida wins that game. and not because they are good. They win because Utah has to travel 2000 miles and play before a virulent hostile crowd in 90 degree/90% humidity weather. Utah wins on a neutral field. This isn't a neutral field.

The forecast is a high of 87°F and 76% RH (@!) and scattered showers etc.

That's pretty muggy.

So, how do you think your team will fare?  What are the key games?

UGA will be favored across the board, which doesn't mean they win them all.  I suspect a loss somewhere, perhaps at MSU.  @UK, Tenn, @USCe, UF, Oregon ... all plausible losses.  And I think Bama is "back", probably the best two players in CFB.

I'd love for my Vols to get back into the discussion.  It's been a long time.

I'd be thrilled with finishing 2nd in the East, something like a 9-3 year.

The SEC is still UGA/Bama until it's not.  I'd just like to be able to "scare" one of them again.  Make'em worry.

Boom or bust here...bust being 8 wins or less.  Boom being 10 or more.  I'd hate to lose to any of the Miss schools again or Arkansas but beat one of the big boys (Bama, Fla, possibly LSU).  It sucks to have a great team only to lose to a coackroach program and knock yourself out of contention.

A&M could be in "put up/shut up" territory next year.

I’m not certain on that unless Jimbo completely bombs this season. Because I don’t think we would be able to pony up the dough to fire him and bring somebody else in.

I think Bama should be very good but with several opponents who could on a certain day beat them. The ones I am more concerned about are Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU. Arkansas to me looks a lot like Auburn with Cam Newton. Tennessee has an explosive offense that can beat or lose to anybody. Can they get hot against us? LSU has great talent. Nevertheless to beat Alabama you will have to play perfect and get the breaks; turnovers, kick returns, etc.

I agree with that, this is probably one of Bama's better teams.  I admire what Arkansas is doing, I enjoy watching them play someone other than us.  The Vols are using a gimmick to compensate for talent, sort of like Georgia Tech did on back with Johnson, and I get that.  It can upset a "bama" one time, but lacks consistency.

You need some breaks to beat Bama any time.  UGA got some last year.

LSU not looking too good. FSU looks like they may have a decent team.

Holy schneike.

FSU had it in the bag, loses the ball at the 1 yard line. LSU goes 99 yards and scores with one second left, only to miss the xp.

FSU wins.

We may get Pitt.  We don't lose to Kentucky.

At USCe is worrisome to me.
Wow, great call here.
