Yeah, so I just looked it up. It'd cost me $103.22 to take an Uber from my house in Waco to the hotel in Austin. That's relevant because it cost me $107 to park my car for two nights.
Obviously that's one way, but the idea is having merit.

Long story short, I only head to Austin when parking is assured. I'm too old for that (stuff)

just picked up a case assorted beers from the guy on the corner that aren't moving - all crafts. Two sixers of IPAs Two sixers of kolschs. Kölsch = a pale, brilliantly clear German-style hybrid beer that is top-fermented like an ale but cold-conditioned like a lager.

Kolsch in Cologne is fantastic.  Comes in smaller glasses so it stays cold and they keep bringing you more beer until you tell them not to, they just tick off your tally on your coaster.

Servers roam the beer hall with these things and they just keep on bringing them by.  Like a Brazilian steakhouse, I suppose.

Procured  3 19 oz cans of BIG LOU'S Double India Pale Ale(6.34% ABV) made by Hamburg Brewing Company, New York. Along with 2 sixers one a summer Kolsch and the other a Butter Pecan Porter from Hopview Brewing a little craft operation run by Ohio's largest family run winery(I've mentioned before). All that for 17 smackers from my corner connection which is almost theft - does that make me a bad man?

The caveat however was as I was when going up the stairs to the house the corner of the flat box buckled and 3 of the porter cans took a dive and popped open was able to run them inside into a pitcher and save about one and 1/2 cans - so still a win though with a heavy heart 😁

This Big Lou's I had to look it up,has a 4.1 out of 5 rating from Beer Advocate, so maybe later as I have to carbo load for unloading the truck over at the Food Pantry then sorting/counting/bagging/distributing it all thru the day tomorrow

Double IPA?  What the heck has happened to you, man?

Just give that shit to the next neck-bearded millennial you see and count yourself lucky it's not longer in your possession.

Every man has his price and the stuff wasn't moving I thought it wouldn't be prudent to let it spoil. So I asked my self what would 94 do and the answer came back  - "I'll have another"

PS-don't tell Bwarb
