I've always heard an active hurricane season is a sign of a more consistently cold winter for us, and it seems to generally hold up (anecdotally, from memory, and absolutely nothing scientific on my part to back that up).  I guess we're in for another wuss, southern, warm winter.

Blech.  I can't stand it when Christmas season is 77 degrees outside.

77 would be a cold front for Christmas around here.  Most of my Christmas day memories involve getting out of the grandparents' house in our shorts and t-shirts to throw the football around with our cousins, in 80 degree weather.

These LT weather "forecasts" don't impress me with their accuracy, akin to the hurricane projections.

I do not understand these El Nino patterns at all, maybe no one does.

Still at the cabin in Michigan.  Nice cool morning- 55.    Will hit 70 today.  I see some fishing later.  

Heading back to Florida next weekend.  Highs in the upper 80s, humid as hell and rain every day.  😏
