There is a question which has become overly political as to whether it is changing much faster than whatever normal would be due to human activity.

The more important question, so me, is whether we have the realistic means to do anything substantive about that in time.

Most folks with strong opinions can't write out a simple paragraph accurately describing the issue.

Trees are an approach but only fast growing forests sequester carbon, for a time.  A mature forest is nearly carbon neutral because trees die and then decay.

The oceans are the major carbon sink, literally.  That is an aspect that I would guess is VERY difficult to model.

While about 71% of Earth's surface is currently covered in water, there's evidence to suggest that early Earth, around 3.2 to 3 billion years ago, was a "water world" covered almost entirely by a global ocean, with little to no land exposed. This primordial water likely came from asteroids and meteorites or was outgassed by volcanic activity as the planet cooled.

Simply store a bunch of ocean water in the moon craters.

Burps are mouth farts.

If human activity sped up a change in climate, we should also be able to reverse it.  Except that making it worse was accidental and fixing it would need to be on purpose.

Good luck with that.
