Models like to have it turning to the North right now. Pretty good consensus.

Looks to me that Erin is not the storm to worry about.  The next one might be the one.

Yesterday was the first day over 90°F here since August 1.  Today is the climate maximum T day here, average Ts start dropping from here, that likely is about true for many of us.

We've had much more rain than is typical for August.  Usually the rain is a shower around 5 PM for 20 minutes, we've had days of hard rain for over a week, and more coming.

I think we're still a couple of days away here in CenTex.

But zero 100-degree days at my house so far in 2025, and none in the forecast for the next 2 weeks, means it's very possible we'll get through all of 2025 without breaking 100.  I can't recall that happening here... well... ever.

My wife had the weather on last night late, the dude said the dew point here was 75°F, yuck.

I think we hit 100°F once a week or so back, maybe we won't again.  The pool had been quite warm, too warm, last I went it was chilly.

We had a weird heat wave back in maybe early June where I think it touched 100... But there's no daily high on the 10-day above 87 looking forward... Unseasonably cool for August here.
