Hi :57:

I can't even be a smartass here, I'm just jealous.  Getting older and the heat don't mix.

I wouldn't care too much if I had a suburban lot to maintain.  I've got 10 acres, of which 5 of it takes a lot of maintenance.  I may die this week in the yard.

You're welcome. If anyone here complains of the frigid conditions, I'll tell them to move to Austin.

No thanks.

That's when it's nice to keep the windows open while sleeping. No A/C needed.

Still haven't broken 100 yet at my house so far this year.  And if weather.com is correct, looks like that trend will continue all the way into August.  I can't recall a single year, ever, where we had zero 100 degree days all the way into August.

Here it feels like July in Atlanta, and a bit.  I think our average high is 89°F for the month.  It feels pretty hot outside.

UN says booming solar, wind and other green energy hits global tipping point for ever lower costs | The Hill

Great, problem solved, no need for massive government subsidies now.  Oh wait, you say we're not going fast enough?

UN top court: failure to act against climate change could violate international law

Seems to me like folks off making "laws" nobody else cares about.
