Massive rain has impacted Central Texas. Several dead reported. Very sad. 
I hope none of our members were affected. 
I wonder if this will fill Canyon Lake and all the other area lakes.

Lake Travis is up 10' which is a lot.  Most of that has occurred since midnight.  Incredibly unsafe conditions all around.  

And sadly, as you mentioned, gut-wrenching catastrophe along the Guadalupe River.  There are several childrens' summer camps along the river, and at least one of them didn't evacuate everyone in time.  It was an all girls' camp, and several of those little girls are never coming home.  It's just been heartbreaking to read about it all yesterday and this morning.
