Sitting on my back patio here in South
Florida enjoying my coffee. It is 30° with a windchill of 15.  pretty rare for these parts.

several dead iguanas back here that fell out of the surrounding trees.
Kill them! It's legal.

Seems extreme.  Is there a reason?  Are they a nuisance or something?

They are invasive and do a lot of damage to infrastructure, native wildlife and landscape.

Iguanas can have high levels of Mercury. I'd rather fill them up with lead.

Ah okay.  Similar to armadillos here in Texas.  They cause all sorts of problems.

gonna warm up to 50 here in the central Nebraska sandhills - melt the couple inches of snow we got yesterday - I won't need a jacket to go out to watch Husker hoops at 3pm
