Just another perfect morning walking the dog in a t shirt and shorts as the sun comes up...

Supposedly 61 right now, high of 78 today.

Happy November, everybody!

I forgot how skinny Ohio trees are on average.

They sure are abundant though.

it's actually a very interesting area filled with a lot of skinny trees. That picture is facing east, to the south is uphill pretty significantly for about 100 yards so water flows down. There's a stream to the east, but in this area and just south of it, some of the trees end up dying from sitting in water for an extended period. The odd part is, if one dies, three smaller, skinnier ones grow back within a couple years.

There's a lot of visually blah areas of Ohio. My family and I are pretty blessed in our area. Here and a little east of us in Cuyahoga Valley National Park have some absolutely beautiful woods that I hope they keep from weasels and mongrels like me from building in. By choice, when the kids are grown up, I'd love to live in Wyoming, Montana or upstate new york in a little more mountainous area, but for now I found a part of Ohio that's closest I could find to what I love
