*EDIT - apparently it's a grades thing......he may need to JUCO it for a year or something.  Or find a place with a big eraser in the admin offices.

Lance Dixon winds up at West Virginia.  May have overestimated his market, so I'm glad he still landed at a Power 5 school.  The thought was that he was going to rejoin his HS head coach at Michigan, but basically said a week ago that Michigan wasn't talking to him.

247 ranked Dixon as a 5 STARZ! Kinda crazy to see him wash out at PSU so quickly and not have many suitors on the portal market.

UW really wanted him. They were one of two schools to get an official. Probably wouldn't have seen the field in Madison, given the wealth of talent at the LB positions.

Really?  Seemingly every other school completely pulled the plug on him.  I assumed there were additional academic issues.  I was beginning to think he might end up in the MAC

Michigan has his HS head coach coaching on their defense. They didn't really make a run either. Kinda shocking how his transfer played out. Either his grades are a mess at Penn State, he's got off-field problems we don't know about, and/or he's got a very bad rep as a guy who doesn't work hard or is a locker-room problem.
