Yeah but I am skeptical about little brothers 4* ranking to begin with. Seems to me like most kids from Michigan that are from any other area but Detroit and Metro-Detroit just kinda wind up sucking.

100%. Take as many big uglies as ya can. Mazi Smith is from Muskegon and he was a top 100 player and so far hasn’t worked out very well. His lack of progress has been amplified by the fact the DT recruiting was light on numbers past few classes.

I’m with you, load up on the big uglies and let the best guys win.

Having said that, he’s probably a safe bet to join his big brother in East Lansing. 

I just don’t get why Ben Van Sumeren transferred though. He’s not an FBS level RB or LB. He’s a FB.

If he has any lateral quickness he can get into MSUs LB rotation immediately

MSU adds a pair of underwhelming defensive backs, one from Louisville, one from Arizona. There is zero depth back there, so I guess they need all the bodies they can get, but nothing about these two makes me think they worry plan a, b, or C
