If you want the most "traditional" BBQ ribs, I'd recommend the gas grill.

I haven't. Having been out in the suburbs my whole childhood, and then moving away as soon as I was out of school, I haven't had the pleasure to experience nearly as much of the city as I would have liked. 

I just looked them up. Something particularly notable about their ribs?

I style mine after theirs, most of the time.

That place has a lot of memories, including some of mine.

Frank Sinatra was a regular, and I was there when he was, one time. I also met several former Bears there, like Gary Fencik (I knew him from our office, later on), Otis Wilson, and others.

ah,whahahahahaha.  I guess nobody thought to snap one.  Welp, as you can see not much left, except for the bones going in the ziplock for the freezer for beef stock.   5lb dino rack of beef ribs.

While it's easy to blame my 14yr old, I do ban phones from visibility with guests over.      Beef ribs are the best though I do prefer a short rib plate, find it more consistent for a smoke.

I love beef ribs, especially smoked short ribs off the plate.  But a little goes a LONG way for me.  They're so rich I can usually only have a few bites.  Brisket has a little less beefy flavor but goes down much easier.
