Scolding hot take here: Michigan would be a legit national title contender this year if David Ojabo & Dax Hill returned for 1 more year and Xavier Worthy was allowed to enroll early and never transferred to Texas.

Dax Hill would’ve just made their secondary that much better. They have nice depth guys at pass rush but no true stud- which is concerning- Ojabo would’ve given them that elite edge rusher.

Xavier Worthy with their other weapons on offense and JJ pulling the trigger- holy chit.

Seems like little things- but those are 3 ELITE guys- which added to this years team would just have made this team FILTHY.

Wow, I was wrong about Nebraska.  They are getting drilled.  These kids are too young to remember the rivalry.
Of course lol. That rivalry been dead since before some of these kids can even remember.

Hate to say I told you so- but I called Nebraska getting drilled.

Purdue has a defensive lineman named Nic Caraway? As is the Nick Carraway who spent a riotous summer on Long Island?

Never mind, but going into halftime @ Syracuse with the 9-3 lead, the coaching adjustments are really playing out between these two underrated teams. For as strong as Purdue's front seven is, Syracuse's is improved and playing well enough for coach Brohm to lean toward looking for offense through the air where the Boilermakers size is a big advantage. O'Connor is a big guy who early on found success finding big targets Durham and Johnson downfield, until Syracuse's secondary tightened up. Good home crowd in the dome.

Substitute Wisconsin for Michigan and JJ Watt for those other two and UW is your 2011 MNC. I'll always believe that.

On the bright side, they won't have to strongly consider the interim guy after this drubbing. He's out of the running.

Good morning!!

A few nice games today leading up to the bloodbath in Columbus next weekend.

Lots of eyeballs will be looking to Lincoln, at least for a half or so. I'll be watching from a safe distance.

The cream of the crop is after dark. Looking forward to those games as two of the B1G powers travel to opposite sides of the country. MSU at Washington and PSU at Auburn.

My guys play Jerry's (Kill) kids.

Chicken Parm tonight. I'm meeting a friend for lunch so that's handled.

What's going on in your world?
Got my wires crossed on this. Didn't realize PSU was playing at 3:30.

Getting a lot of wires crossed today. Probably too much Deep Eddy last night.

Man, I think the Arky coach would be great in Lincoln. Sam Pittman.

Problem is, is UNL a step up from Arky?

Serious question.

Ehh.....they'd beat Alabama, with the best pass D ever and shut out LSU?  Or LSU, which was favored to beat Alabama?
Mmmmkay.

Take a peek at how many players on that UW OL played on Sunday. I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

LOL
Considering the teams I mentioned that they'd have to beat, I'm going to let you think about your post again.
Bringing up NFL talent on this one is a point against you, friend.

I'm just going to share this here, early in the season:  Georgia TE Brock Bowers should probably win the Heisman.  He won't.  But he probably should.

They'd have to beat LSU. And they would have. But, JJ left, and that's that.
