But didn't you mention traveling with a coffee maker not long back?
Maybe that was me... Mentioned traveling with coffee pods, not a coffee maker.

My wife loves Champagne and caviar, and I spotted this tasting option not too far, and she declined, saying it was too pricey $110 per.

I’m happy she is so prudent about such things.  We dined at this place once, their sister place is a favorite of ours for lunch, Bangkok Thai.

San Francisco's House of Prime Rib. Awesome. Only thing on the menu is different sizes of prime rib.* Oh, and you can get creamed corn instead of creamed spinach, if you so desire. Been doing the same thing for 75 years.

A great time, but hard to get reservations.

*There are technically one fish and one vegetarian option for the poor people dragged along with their meat eating friends to a meat eating mecca. But that's just D-U-M.

Prime rib to me tastes like beef stew.   Maybe I’ve never had great examples.

What do they do to accommodate guys like me who don't like rare, fatty meat?

They offer you the fish or vegetable option.

Or the door.

Your choice.

I don't like prime rib either, too fatty for me.

Because of that I don't imagine I'd ever find myself at a place that only served prime rib.

I prefer prime rib over ribeyes because the fat renders well in the oven.

That would be my best option.

And then I'd go here.

Yeah, if prime rib isn't your thing, then the House of Prime Rib isn't likely to be, either. Kinda like I would pass on the Hog Island Oyster Co. because I'm not into oysters, even though I'm certain it's a great place to go for oysters. :-)
