My property taxes have jumped 33% over the past couple of years.  Soon as my specials were paid off, so I guess there's that small consolation.  Done paying 2K/yr for my curb and gutter construction.

$hit is pretty out of control, higher income taxes than all the surrounding states, property taxes skyrocketing.  The why...the fix...not bloody likely.  That is all.

Rankings are one thing--those are factual comparisons. Future tax policy is different.

Yeah, it could a little shaky. 

As for future, there will be a referendum on the ballot this year in Florida.

"No property taxes for homesteaded homes."

My vote will be yes.
