#23 is a former Badger who this staff (since fired) deemed not good enough.

There is a theme with Badgers transferring to Indiana. IU's starting OL will include 2 of them.

For a second, I thought the nation suddenly randomly voted on the annual Spring game, purple vs. gold.

At least for the top teams this is basically another way to measure consistency so it isn't surprising to see Ohio State at the top.

Boy, given the 90's where my interest really blossomed, I'm surprised LSU hasn't lost more than 8 in a row.  Feels like we lost about 10 years in a row.

Some of those Florida games felt like 4 losses, and probably should have been counted as such.

How many losses does 77-0 count?  I'd say about 5.

Question... When did your team's record losing streak(s) happen?

For Purdue, I thought to myself... "I'll bet that we probably didn't have any 11-game losing streaks in history before the last couple of years... We suck, but we don't suck THAT badly."

And I was almost right. We lost 11 in a row in 2024 (won first game, lost 11 straight, then won first two games in 2025). We didn't lose 11 in a row before that for over a century.

But... It appears we had another 11-game losing streak. We won our final game in 1904, then went 0-5 in the consecutive years of 1905-06, then lost our opener in 1907.

So technically we've had two 11-game losing streaks in history.

Oddly enough, despite Purdue having a much stronger historic performance than Indiana, Indiana only has one 11-game losing and one 16-game losing streak. So they have the same number of 11(+) streaks in history as Purdue.

I guess maybe it's actually hard to lose that many games in a row, no matter how bad you are.
