Urbz could've stayed put and built a juggernaut at Utah but wanted Florida.
Could he really though?  Wasn't Utah part of the MAC or WAC or something back then?  I can't remember when it went to the PAC, but it seems like it was around 2010 or something, well after Urban left.  Was it easy to recruit to Utah?  What is their finances like, stadium size, the whole bit?  I mean I'm sure he could have built Utah into something of a juggernaut, but IMO he would never be able to build Utah into a national power, near Blue Blood in the same way that Dabo Swinny did with Clemson.

Man, I just had to look it up, he was at Utah 2 seasons, 10-2 and 12-0.  Pretty good, I think he elevated the program to a level that they've been somewhat able to sustain.  I didn't realize he was only 61 years old, for some reason I thought he was much older.

Utah then isn't really comparable to Indiana now.  Cignetti already has a ton of props (rightly so).  Is it better, for him, to prove this is a long term thing or jump for a place with better NIL/recruiting but much higher expectations?

I don't know.  Imagine he goes to Florida and turns in 8-5 kinds of seasons for whatever reason, or if he stays put an turns in 6-6's.  I don't know.  I wish him well.

I've heard/been told that IU is spending more on NIL than any other B1G team right now, other than fOregon (if we assume they are in the B1G).

When he was at Utah, he took a page out of Woody's book and called BYU "Team Down South" or "TDS" for short.

It stuck.
