Yeah, I was watching a Wisconsin preview thing and it's all doom and gloom.  Hard schedule.  Not a great team.

But are you badger fans optimistic?  Florida's o/u on wins last year was like 4.5, but I just couldn't wrap my head around that.  We can't be that bad, no matter the schedule.  We're Florida!

Is that your mindset at all?

I think they will surprise some people this season. New OC with a proven track record running a power offense, and hopefully a QB that can make it through a season. They also have competent backup QB's this year, unlike the past two years. Lastly, the DL has been vastly fortified across the board.

I am an optimist by nature. And a fan--specifically a fan during the Badgers' best 30-year run in school history. So I will start the season with hope. But I am also deeply concerned about the direction of the program, and see a tough schedule to handle while performing a solid rebuild.
