Surprising amount of parody really. Everyone thought it would be the same teams every year, but a lot of last year's participants are all but eliminated.

What do the bottom 10 have in common?

What do the top 10 have in common?

Is it worth 8 years of life to tote your gun, thump your bible, and pay less taxes?  This is NOT a jab...it's evidence of a lifestyle and the cost of an ideology.  The two don't have to correlate, but they obviously do.

Let's check in on the completely unfair comparison made for lil Arch and Timmay so far:
First 5 games as starting QB:
Manning 3W - 2L
81-135 (60%) for 1,151 yds....11 TD with 5 INT.....151.1 rating
rush:  43 att for 160 yds (3.7 ypc) and 5 TD
.
Tebow 4W - 1L
85-122 (69.7%) for 1,297 yds...11 TD with 2 INT....185.4 rating
rush:  89 att for 433 yds (4.9 ypc) and 8 TD

Arch's numbers aren't bad.  But, he's not TT.  The FB playing QB somehow completed 70% of his passes compared to the kid with every possible advantage coming up.

I mean, Arch has played extremely shitty football all season long.  Balls going into the dirt at the feet of wide open receivers.  Balls sailing 10 yards past wide open receivers.  All of that long before he got pressured by Florida's defense.

I don't think this comparison is doing what you think it's doing to prop up Tebow.  Its a weird, unnecessary, irrelevant, distant reach of a flex.

It would make a lot more sense to compare an actual, competent QB, if you really want to flex for no reason whatsoever.

It's a criticism of whoever made the comparison, like Finebaum.  Chill.

Also, Arch Manning started two games last year, so the 5 games this year, are not his first 5 games as a starter.

Okay, let's change it to their first 5 games as "the man."  That sounds more scientific anyway.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what one has to do with the other, but 'roun these parts the ones that thump their bible and pay less taxes tend to live the longest.  Not sure what toting a gun has to do with it.

Didn't Tebow have a huge role in 05, even though Leak was the "starter"?

You're acting butthurt for no good reason.  This is about expectations and idiots who set the bar too high, not about poor play.  Even you shit on his play, and while far from great, he's not an awful player.  What QB would have thrived vs the pressure Florida was putting on him?
Hell, a 155 pass rating would lead the country 25 years ago.
The OL, while getting justifiably criticized, didn't have the sky-high expectations to fall from as Manning is.  THAT is the point.
