We had a 3.2 CU fridge in the nook just off our kitchen.  We used for drinks mainly, the regular fridge is a smaller 30" wide one.  My wife wanted a larger small fridge, I ignored it for a while and finally got one, 4.4 CU.  No big deal, it looks OK, doesn't take up much room, a bit taller.  So, I moved the old fridge into my office, which had gotten "messy", baseball gear, an old computer and monitor, some fans, a couple mostly unusued small filing boxes.

So, I reorganized, the place is much neater now.  Old fridge works fine, I keep extra drinks in it.  I have three filing drawers with files in them I need to go through and mostly pitch.  I used to file all sorts of burfle, old tax returns, credit card statements, some probably go back a hundred years.

Anyway, cleaning up and reorganizing makes me happy.

Just found out that while we're only getting a 1% raise this year, we're getting a one-time 2% bonus on an upcoming pay period.  Yeah, I know that a bonus payment isn't as beneficial in the long run as a true 3% raise, but still.  I wasn't expecting it, so it feels like a nice perk.

My daughter in Vancouver, BC, told me she got approval for her permanent residency.  She has been tied to her company up until now, which has been wearing on her, she's interested in finding a new job.  Meet the new boss ...?

Anyway, I'm guessing she now is expat, retaining her US citizenship.

Good Luck but she will still have to file a U.S. tax return and report your worldwide income to the IRS every year, no matter where one lives or holds permanent residency. Ain't that great - IRS = Insidious Rotten Swine
