I got a big pot of pho simmering on the stove. Gonna make the house smell great all day, and be delicious as phok for dinner tonight.

Sounds like they didn't get a chance to be exports.

What makes me happy today is thinking about what a great weekend I had with the art student and SFGopher. It's not great getting them home for Thanksgiving, but it was worth it.

One of the wife's Christmas decorations is a wooden Santa Clause with a small black board with permanent writing at the top that says "All I want for Christmas is" and then you use chalk on the blackboard below to write whatever you want.  The youngest stepson wrote "Pho" on it years ago and she thought that was funny and so never erased it.  I kept writing a "k" at the end of it because I thought that was funny.  Somebody keeps erasing it.  It's not my stepson.

My wife is already panicking about our upcoming trip, what to pack, etc.  I'm quite relaxed.  I'm not even sure where we're headed.

We got a ton of snow, which made me sad because I have a ton of cases and I hate driving in the snow during rush hour. But after I shoveled the driveway, I got the call that they closed court. So I get a snow day. Which is just as awesome as it was when I was a kid.
