I'd rather support Drew and this site more than any other - I kinda like it here - this site makes me happy

but, it's just the idea of paying for something online that bothers me - probably for the grumpy old man thread
I don't pay for my local newspaper or the Omaha Weird Herald or the Lincoln Star - nothing!  not even Husker content

The annual arts festival is across the street in the park today.  This is pretty interesting for us, a lot of different stuff, some junky, some quite innovative, some pricey.  We bought some jewelry from a fellow and got to know him a bit over time, so my wife invited him over this evening for dinner after he closes up shop.  He's a nice fellow, and I spent some money on his stuff several times, it's not bad pricewise.

So, we'll go over and peruse, there probably are over 250 "booths", we might miss a few.  Supposed to rain this afternoon.

Piedmont Park Arts Festival

We enjoy there, they have 4-5 similar each year.

Had my first annual checkup on Friday, and apparently my labs are pretty much solid. Especially my liver...

Cholesterol slightly elevated, but that I can knock back down pretty easily IMHO.

A lot of good news around here, including of course that FOOTBALL is near!

The weather here was only moderately hot so I went running and did pretty well, did some pushups, and came back and later went swimming.  Tomorrow is schedule for throwing so we'll see.

Tonight I'm taking my wife to Fogo de Chao, which usually is pretty decent.  She really likes it, her closest friend lives in Brazil and she likes a kaiparovska.  I have a $25 off birthday deal.

But, of course health is tres important for all of us.
