I made a reservation for brunch Sunday, it's a 20 year anniversary, my wife suggested this knowing I like the place a lot, and I thought it a good idea.
I told her if you'd told me then I'd be alive today I would not have believed you, seriously. It took a few hard years on me and my kids slowly trying to climb back. Chatting here had it's part. My wife of course played a huge role. My kids are both doing well, talking about coming to visit in September.
So, while Aug 3 won't make me "happy" exactly, I'm trying to recall all the wonderful things a ton of people did for us back then, some really good stories. Most people are good people.
