Just getting back into the swing of things after being on vacation over the long Columbus/Indigenous day weekend.

Things that made me happy:

1) Went to the beach
2) Went to the beach instead of Dallas for the game
3) Son came to the beach with us
4) Daughter came from College Station to meet us at the beach
5) All parties made the to-and-from trips safe and sound

Anything that might have happened in college football games over the weekend, belongs in the grumpy thread and not here. :'(

woke up in a sweet little bed & breakfast in Maine across the street form a working lobster boat harbor - breakfast served from 8-8:30

Gonna spend the day with eldest daughter

I still am not clear on "unassignment football", maybe that's where each player kind of does his own thing ...

You said you got to watch UGA play Vandy.  Did you get to see any of the Bama game?  I didn't see any of it live because I was too busy watching my derpy team, but in retrospect, I should've just flipped over to the marquee contest.

I did not watch the Bama game.  I woke up that morning where we were, it was around 4 AM there, and it had 2:00 left, I went on line.

I saw some replays, and agree it was PI there at the end, but still a bang bang kind of call.
