I make enough as it is.  Trips.  This is the ring, I like it, it slips on and off easily.

Not yet, we've looked at some, they get pricey.  I'm guessing she wants to go to the one in Paris again in December.

When we got married, I selected my ring to be cobalt chromium. My wife wanted to buy me platinum, but what's the difference? As far as I'm concerned, cobalt chromium does the exact same job [signifying to the world that I'm spoken for] at 1/10th the price. It's a good ring.

My wedding ring is titanium.  Cost me $90 I think.

My wife's engagement ring and wedding ring are both platinum.  I bought the diamond and it came in a plain gold Tiffany setting, and that's what I proposed with.  Then I let her pick the setting she really wanted and I had it made to her specifications.  Then we picked out her wedding band which is just a very plain, narrow platinum band, which is perfect for her because as a Physical Therapist who works all day with her hands, she needs something small and unobtrusive.  She only wears the band while working and adds the engagement ring when going out or whatever.
