Sorry to bump this. Mom is responding well to the chemo.

It's Dad that I'm worried about. Back in December, he was found to have a tumor on the gland at the back of the roof of the mouth, and it's been causing him a lot of pain as of late. Scans from that found another type of cancer elsewhere in his body. Doing tests and trying to figure out what to do next. 

Not good at all.

That's how we handled my Ma. Stage 4 lung and lymph nodes. Doctor gave her 6 months max. She went 10 years.

Good luck @GopherRock .  Prayers sent.  I'm dealing with a lot of medical issues with my parents and my dad's are probably end-of-life at this point so I feel your pain.

Yep, best of luck GR. 

Not as close to us as parents but my wife's aunt is in her final days about to lose her battle with cancer. Feisty woman and shouldn't go out like this. 

I hope when it's my time, it's completely without warning (and without pain).
