Folks, many of us have been on this forum for a long time. We've seen some good times and bad times, and have been willing to help each other when things aren't going so well. This is one of those times.

Recently, my mother has been diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I drove my folks down to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester last week for a surgical biopsy, and there have been some complications from it. She's currently in a hospital here in MSP dealing with those. She also took her first dose of chemo today. Fortunately, things seem to be improving, and she's looking to be discharged tomorrow. 

This is going to be a hard winter in my family, so if you've got some good vibes to send us, we'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Good luck, GR! As one who has had people in "my circle" dealing with cancer this year, all I can say is keep your head up and tell her to keep fighting.

She's in a good location for top level treatment.  Things have improved a lot over the years.

She was released from the hospital yesterday, and had a good night last night. Considering a hospital during a pandemic isn't a good place for someone whom is immunocompromised, that is all good news. Regular doses of chemo for the next 4-6 months.
