Seems like Maryland has figured out something on offense.  They dug themselves probably too big a hole first though.

Maryland has a ton of weapons.  IMO with a real QB, they'd be ranked right now.

I feel for you, in what seems like a frustrating game, but personally it's refreshing to have angry (or happy) Purdue fans.  Had plenty of them in the early days of this board, and I'm glad to see how quickly Brohm has wiped away the apathy.
True. We stuck around for basketball threads, but yeah, it's been pretty dark for Purdue fans for a while.
But still, it's Rutgers. They never played, but Hazell should have been able to compete with Rutgers!

On the bright side, I just realized Purdue landed a commit from 4* DE George Karlaftis.  Holy crap, this might be the biggest recruiting get I've seen since I started following the program.  He had offers from Alabama, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State.

4th and 1. You're running the ball with impunity.

So go empty set and throw an incomplete pass. SMFH...

Purdue turns it over on downs.

It's starting to look like Rutgers might have this one.

Well, maybe one year.
More "weapons" are redshirting.

Yeah, posted it in the 2019 recruiting thread.  He's from West Lafayette, but that can work against you too.  Shows how quickly Brohm has shifted the local mentality about the trajectory of Purdue.

I'll never understand why teams (particularly mine) throw the ball when it's obvious u need to grind it out with runs to milk the clock

We throw on 1st down (incomplete / clock stops) and then turn it over on downs

b.s. playcalling

hopefully we can hang on here but I'm not sure we can ....

Yep.  They should have went to Herdman on 3rd.  They should have been going to him all game for that matter.
It wasnt a good throw though
