I love how the ire is aimed at the candidate and not at the voters.

Just as with Trump, they deserve who they vote for.

It takes some bad decisions to get people to take this shit seriously and vote for someone boring and ethical (well, more boring and ethical).  Not someone who you'd like to have a beer with, not someone you recognize from TV, etc.

The voters are the embarrassment, not the candidates.
Although I don’t care for Trump, I could see why people voted  for him.
He is doing what I thought he would do, so I am not dissatisfied at all.    Success with NATO, with the Iran situation, historically low illegal border crossings, stock market moving well, consumer confidence up,DEI being smashed for the BS it is, getting women to stand for girls/women against biological men in sports ( which is how they always felt but we’re afraid to say so before for Fear of being persecuted and called all kinds of names).   So yes, I think the people voted in either direction are getting what they thought would happen. It’s just that some of those people are very happy with what’s going on and some are not

Your list omits at least 80% of our population, who are getting screwed financially and having helpful programs taken away.  I guess they don't matter.

Tell us how the sudden freezing of $6.8 billion for education fits your vibe.  My friend, an adult education teacher, doesn't have a position.  Not let go, not fired.  Her job doesn't exist anymore.  Because reasons.
Money that was already approved by congress months agree precise personification of the Dunning-Kruger effect.  He's the lesser evil vs no one.

Fuck Trump.  He's the lesser evil vs no one.

It's illegal, and will be reversed by a judge.

But I'm all ears, friend.

Meanwhile,  Jaguar car sales are down 97.5% year over year in '25.  I wonder why...

Is it not because of this:

You missed my point.  Completely.  It was a couple of things that are/have happened.  It was not supposed to be a comprehensive list.
you keep saying that the voters got what they wanted.  I’m just agreeing with you.  And adding on that the majority, who voted for Trump, are getting exactly what they voted for.  And they’re happy about it.  Very happy
you can call him evil and call all of them evil but the point still stands. He won the election easily and those who supported him are very happy right now.

I guess I'm OK with Trump's BB bill even though it still spends way more that the US can afford and puts us further into the hole.  The US needs to cut entitlements.  There's no way around that.  Until Congress has it's come to Jesus moment on that maybe we can weed out those receiving benefits who have not contributed.

The government is already in the grocery business. They're called the commissary, and they're on military bases around the world. They work quite well, thank you very much.
You should ask my Marine son how well they work... NO thank you very much, he'd tell ya.

The election actually was close, it was no landslide.  Yes, I know Trump won the 7 pivotal states, but each was by a pretty narrow margin, and he won the popular vote by a pretty slim margin also (77 to 75).  The vote was basically 50-48, Trump managed to get the edge where it counted.

In my view, Harris was a particularly poor candidate, I'm not talking about her positions, just her political acumen and skills.  And she nearly won.  I think her comments on "The View" might have flipped it.  I think Trump got quite a few votes from folks who just couldn't vote for Harris and viewed him as the Lesser.

As for spending on education, I suspect some positions eliminated were silly positions, maybe not all.

DOGE government layoffs could start becoming a factor in jobs report

Maybe, I still view this DOGE thing as mostly a nothing with a lot of ink.

The idea they could magically save trillions never made any sense, to me, and even hundreds of billions is a huge stretch.  Maybe they can cut a hundred billion, but I doubt even that without Congress.
