On top of that, they invited the Gringos because the lands were barely settled.  Then, when they realized that the Americans weren't assimilating to Mexican Culture they tried to crack down and that is how they ended up losing Texas. 

If they want to refight Texas' war of independence and the Mexican-American war, they should realize that the Texas National Guard could probably deal with them without even needing the rest of the US Military.

Nah this is something completely different. Those were actual citizens of China protesting for civil rights. Not illegals of another country who are not citizens of the US violently rioting and setting $200,000 Google cars on fire, looting Nike for $200 Air Jordans, looting Apple for $1,200 iPhones, attacking and assaulting law enforcement, and throwing rocks and bricks from overpasses onto moving cars on the highway.

I suspect many of the rioters are not illegals and are probably US citizens.  US citizens sympathetic to every dumb cause, ready to riot and loot are a dime a dozen in Los Angeles.  I further suspect that going in guns a'blazing and just mowing them down would result in a ton of citizen deaths, not to mention be morally reprehensible.  We're not even close to the point where that's the solution.  I'm all in favor of being a lot more proactive than has currently been done, and using more force than has currently been done.  Go in and shoot everybody?  God, no.  

I'm against using live ammo on protesters and rioters except as a last resort to protect other people from serious bodily harm.

This sort of thing brews up often and not for a few days and then goes away.  I personally think the Marines are not needed and their presence could be inflammatory and possibly lead to accidents.

So I guess rioting and looting isn't inflammatory and hasn't lead to any accidents?  

You sound as if it's all good, this stuff brews up, just leave them alone and it will all go away.  Except for the hundreds of millions in property damage, disruption to people's lives, middle-fingering of the social contract and law and order.  Maybe impose some consequences for this and it wouldn't brew up.
