Not that I could tell,  but he was super-obsessed with towing laws and hated tow truck companies.  I think he might have run one himself, but he was one of the good guys who did it by the book?  Maybe?

100%. "Mostly peaceful protests" Hey c'mon guys they are just having fun watching cars burn...lmfao...one idiot local news anchor actually said that on air. Google's Waymo autonomous vehicle fleet got absolutely destroyed- these morons lit all of those cars on fire and they cost Google about $200k+ per car. Millions of dollars in damage to those Waymo cars and now Google has moved it's remaining fleet of Waymo cars out of LA. Lol.

Bunch of stores got their windows and doors smashed and broken into and looted. Nike & Apple store downtown LA got looted. These people are absolute fucking retards that should've been aborted and I am A-OK with the military just going in there and gunning them all down. Vis-a-vis tow truck companies:
I knew a guy who did bank repossessions with a sleeper truck (sleepers are like camouflaged tow trucks, the two apparatus "hides" in a standard pickup bed).  Anyway, he ALWAYS had every CD you could ever want because he and all of his cohorts basically stole EVERYTHING out of the cars.  

The banks didn't care, they just wanted the car to auction.  

The people didn't really have any recourse because their car was gone and they lost whatever was in it.  

These guys would tow the car, take it to a lot, steal everything of value, then drop the car off for auction.

if Mexican politicians are going to spit in the face of the US and call for what is essentially war against the US, then the US needs to just finish the job it started in 1846 and invade and destroy Mexico. Shock and awe that shithole back into the Stone Age- would be an improvement for them actually. Time to dismantle it's pathetic wholly corrupt government, send special operations and hit squads after the cartels and kill every last one of them and annex Mexico as a territory of the US.
