I'd rather it wasn't brought up again

Some guy lies through his teeth and claims he was a victim despite all the evidence being ridiculous? Is he running for president?

In any event, he won on the issue I said he would win on, which was that they basically offered him diversion, and then tried to take it back after he completed it.
You clearly do not know all the details of the case, or how it shook down.

That bullshit cost me money as a Crook County taxpayer. I followed it closely.

He was convicted by a jury of his peers. In CHICAGO.

Stuff like this is one of many reasons Illinois is losing population.

It never would have been.

The will of the people has been crushed today, in Illinois.

Again.

I absolutely do and remember talking about it at the time. They appointed a special prosecutor to prosecute him after already entering into an agreement with him about how they weren't going to prosecute. It's the same reason Bill Cosby got out of prison.

says the guy who lives in fucking Ohio, a freezing cold shithole rust belt barren wasteland with fat ugly women as far as the eye can see, shitty food, and nothing to do besides go to HS football games, tip cows on a farm somewhere, drink beer, and overdose on opioids (Ohio Top 5 baby).

you know who says HEY I WANNA VISIT OHIO...and OH MY GOD OHIO IS AWESOME I'M MOVING THERE.....fucking no one.
Why say stupid shit like that? Cleveland(and suburbs) food is better than almost any city I've been to, including overseas. Definitely terrible weather in the winter months, but a beautiful area spring through fall. Columbus as a city and surrounding areas has boomed over the last decade and some of the newer suburbs in Cleveland and Cbus i'd put up against a lot of places, especially considering the cost of living. Ohio, like anywhere, is what you make of it and when you approach life the right way, Ohio is crazy underrated and I laugh at people that verbally shit on it because they simply are clueless.

It was proven that Kim Foxx was shady on the dismissal (and many other things), which is why a respected former Judge brought it to light. Foxx had no business dropping that case after claiming to recuse herself.

The case was reopened as a result, and justice was served.

I don't care about Bill Cosby. He's dead to me.

Shocking...

Yet, good outcome all the way around.

I'm happy.

Heirloom Market BBQ - Bbq, Catering

Had lunch here for the first time, often rated best Q in the city.  It's very casual, no indoor seating, outdoor standing with heaters.  My wife said Fox Bros. is better in her view.  It's run by a Korean lady with a Texas pitmaster, and they have some unusual sides.  I liked the vibe, they were very friendly, and very busy.

Regular Sides Individual $5 Pint $10 Quart $18

BBQ BeansHeirloom  Market is the smallest of places with the biggest of hearts. This chef  driven restaurant was designed with the idea of paying respect to iconic  BBQ food ways with the touch of our personal flavor. Chefs Cody and  Jiyeon decided to create Heirloom Market with one basic thought "What  can we enjoy doing for the next 10 years". We decided to cook to our  strengths. Simple, Classic, and Fresh are three adjectives that should  never be lost when providing such a polarizing cuisine as BBQ. Jiyeon, a  South Korean ex-pat, grew up with the flavors of grilled meats, pickled  vegetables, and a constant array of side dishes. Her culinary training  and travels in the states has led to a deep rooted love for "Seoul" food  or classic Southern cuisine. Cody (a Texas born, Tennessee raised,  Atlanta trained Chef) has spent countless hours cooking, eating, and  appreciating everything BBQ. Together they have created a place that  provides the best of "the things we eat on our days off."

Amen.  I am biased since I was born there. I love that state. Cleveland is awesome.

Is it just me, or are Ohioans extraordinarily fierce about Ohio in a way that other Midwestern state residents are not?

I was an Ohioan by choice, more or less, for 38 years.  I never got that inference, unless someone started criticizing their home.

I found a lot to like about Ohio, and a few things to dislike.
