I rarely pay him any attention, I find him predictable and just uninteresting.  Well, that's my opinion of most media "analysts" in my view.

The two guys I find amusing and occasionally worth reading are Karl Rove and James Carville.  I might tune in if someone had a show with the two of them.

To the first part, I’m well aware. But it does make it a little funky to try to track what changes might be coming.

Did the second part, basically both? A whole bunch of noise was made about how an old doddering 
man with that job was a problem. But ultimately, a lot of people who are making that noise voted for an old doddering man. At a certain point makes me think, this is less about that particular thing, and that is just sort of a means to an end of the party they want running things. 

And that’s fine, but it just meant that all of those words didn’t really mean anything. They meant “I don’t want someone from that party running things.”

I think he's been pretty clear on his intentions.  Whether or not he's successful, or can even possibly have a chance at being successful, remains to be seen.  But it's clear he wants to put stronger controls on illegal immigration, he wants to influence the end of wars in Ukraine and Israel/Palestine, and he wants a "better economy" whatever that might mean.  And I also expect him to attempt to continue some of his policy from the first term, like being stronger on incenting/forcing further decoupling of American manufacturing from Chinese state-controlled firms.

All of that is a pretty focused platform, whether you agree with the intent or not.  And again, I'm not sure how successful he'll be at any of it, but that's where I expect him to try to go with this next presidency.

Trump is too old, IMO, but he's not senile and frail and he doesn't need a teleprompter at all times.

I would add to that some kind of reduction in the Federal workforce, he may try and eliminate some cabinet departments.

And of course, he wants to usurp total control of government and eliminate Democrats in Congress and SCOTUS ...
