Trump doesn't read.  He isn't interested in bad news, the truth, or evidence of anything.  He's incapable of nuance or anything resembling a deep thought.
But SHE'S dumb? 

If you'd like to believe she's dumb, fine.  Cool.  But please, PLEASE do not pretend he's not.

Harris went to my lawschool, which is not an easy school to get into or to graduate from (but it's also not Yale), and several partners I've worked with over the years were her classmates. She's not dumb (nor was she the smartest person in law school).

as you know- there a lot of stories about how she got where she is.  ( not including the obvious DEI selection as VP).  I tend to not believe those kinds of things- but every time she opens her mouth without a Teleprompter, and everyone is like “what the hell did she just say“, It makes those stories more believable, lol.

Her inability to grasp or communicate world issues or simple concepts is stunning.  It makes you understand why she was a total embarrassment to the administration and her party- openly acknowledged- right up to her appointment as the Dem candidate.  It makes you understand why nearly all of her VP staff walked away. 

So if you want to convince folks that she isn’t dumb, well that’s a big uphill climb.  Getting into and through law school doesn’t necessarily mean much.  She may be like so many other lawyers- who are experts at talking endlessly without actually saying anything substantive, and taking whatever position that is convenient for that moment, but with no real principles to speak of. 

Your every criticism of her applies directly to Trump.  If they're both idiots, why bring it up?  None of us wins.

you won’t find me defending either one of them. As I said, much earlier up thread, we as a nation are getting what we deserve, regardless of who wins. Two stunningly horrible candidates.

This is where I'm at, too.  We earn all the absurdities we get.  

It feels like Harris' campaign started off bold and good, but has fallen into the trap of trying to be all things to all people. 

I once had a VP similar to her, I think.  This lady was dumb, really dumb, and a definite obvious effort to get women into higher positions.  She was a cheerleader, no matter what anyone said she was just yay yay yay.  I had to endure sitting through a number of meetings where folks would present really crappy ideas and she'd lap up every one.

If she gave a speech to her unit, it would be entirely canned, she couldn't say much off the cuff without meandering all over.  She never made decisions that I could discern, and I was in position to see them.  Her boss basically ran things along with her underlings, who were "OK" mostly.
