I like "chicken chili" when I've had it, maybe it's not really "chili", but it's good soup.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 ¼ cups chicken broth
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chiles
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 pinches cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, or to taste
  • salt to taste

It's very good - I find fish sauce to be essential. But braised beef with chili sauce also has it's place in the rotation

Completely different flavor profile for obvious reasons.  I really don't consider them to be the same thing at all.

Sure, a braised beef stew with green chile is tasty too.

And of course, so is chili!

I see, and you also demolished evolution and the laws of thermodynamics.
LoL, more evasion and nonsense.

Your "study" is a lie. You STILL haven't responded.

Lies and evasion are all you have because facts aren't on your side so keep lying and evading.

The statement that crime is higher among immigrants than the native population is false. It is not true. It is not supported by any data. If you squint real hard and make a lot of logical jumps, you might be able to get to the place where illegal immigrants commit violent crime at slightly higher rates, though this isn't particularly well supported.
You are the guy trumpeting a "study" that shows that if you ignore all of the immigrant crime committed in jurisdictions that refuse to inquire about immigrant status then they don't commit much crime.

To simultaneously accuse others of "squinting" and "making logical jumps" is the definition of audacity. It is also a lie. Stop lying.

Further, Medicare and social security are entitlement programs created by Congress. Literally tomorrow, Congress could pass a law on immigration saying that immigrants aren't entitled to these programs. They could even pass a law saying immigrants must pay taxes which help fund these programs but they aren't entitled to the benefits. It is in no way logical or sensical to say we must do everything we can to limit immigration because of these programs.
If you actually believe that there is any chance that Congress will shrink entitlements, I'd suggest that you look at 90 years of history here and more in Europe.

I like to trumpet immigration. It is historically unpopular, pretty much everywhere, but has undeniable benefits for societies everywhere. When a major party is making "mass deportations" its main selling point, I think it is important to make the case that immigration isn't just some charity for the third world, it is an essential part of a successful and growing economy.
Arguing with you just feels like picking on a retarded kid so I'll throw you a bone:

"Immigration . . . Is an essential part of a successful and growing economy". Do you wish to admit that this is false before I prove it?

Would you agree that one could argue a chicken-based chili could belong to the Brunswick stew famlly?

Good point.  I've never had Brunswick Stew but from the descriptions I find online, that chicken soup recipe above, is much more like Brunswick Stew than it is like real actual chili.

I like the latter, which starts off with "One of the things that has always driven me crazy about the left is how much they lie and twist the facts on the issue of crime."

All of these studies or articles or aggregates (and you can find ten million more if you care to look) all arrive at the same conclusion, which is that there is no indication immigrants commit any more crime than native populations and in fact commit much less. But of course, you don't care about the data or the studies. Those go against what you believe, and that must mean they are all made up and phony and financed by the Koch Brothers.

So what is the point of this? You readily admit you aren't interested in any data that goes against what you believe, so it's just a game of spouting some crap into the wind and then claiming you have debunked all the phony studies that don't reflect what you believe.
