For reasons I can’t explain, I find myself rooting for Wisc. most of the time anyway.
It’s because UW fans are charming on here.

how many rings do those early to mid 2000s Detroit Pistons teams win if they take Carmelo Anthony or Dwayne Wade?

I mean I don't disagree, that league certainly ain't what it used to be. It's glory days are behind it.

Those Pistons teams with Chauncey Billups and the Wallace brothers were so good, won a Championship probably should've won it all back to back and were in the thick of it for like 6-7 seasons straight and that was with getting absolutely nothing from their #2 overall pick. Have to imagine if they had taken HOF level players like Carmelo Anthony or Dwayne Wade they probably have 2 to 4 rings right now instead of one.

I actually enjoy watching NBA basketball from a quality of athletics type of thing. But as an actual sport, they wear you out with how many games they have.

They definitely could have used a competent scorer.

I lost interest because it's just 5 on 5 and everything is either a dunk or a 3.  Repeat 50 times on each side.  Yawn.

Kinda same reason I stopped watching.

I think the one and done and straight out of HS to the draft stuff really hurt the product. You’re not getting as developed pro prospects as you used to.

I watched the whole debate last night. First, let me preface that I would never vote for Kamala Harris. But I thought she did well. She limited her freestyle word salads, she seemed to get under Trumps skin about his rallies and other very silly things. She seemed very composed.

I never really got the whole Trump schtick. Even when he ran in 2016 and 2020 I never found him that appealing, but he promised to drain the swamp or something. He really in my opinion didn’t do well. He just said we had the greatest whatever over and over, Biden is sleepy, Kamala is evil, they will destroy the country. Not much about actual plans or policy. He did have a zinger or two, but nothing like how he ate up Hillary Clinton. I think he was advised not to or something, but  find that hard to believe that he’s just going to change it up.

Kamala is so full of shit with her whole “ my values haven’t changed” nonsense.

Still hard to believe we have 300,000 million people and this is the best we got.
