he's definitely not stupid. you don't get where he has gotten to in life because you're an idiot. and whatever you think about him- you HAVE to give him credit for 2016. he absolutely beat the ever loving f*ck out of like 20 Republicans to win the party Presidential nomination
A $400 million head start kind of negates a lot of stupid, no?
And he beat those other republicans with insults and interrupting. He appealed to the lowest rung of us. 'Haha, he burned that guy, he's got my vote' thinking is no way to choose a president.
His base are rural people and/or those who lack nuance and prudence and don't view this voting thing as a serious matter.
They may be right about that, but it's a risky bet.
He speaks in automated phrases, does the strong-arm handshake thing, and never ever EVER admits to anything. It's an 11-year old playbook when the adults around you care about stupid shit like evidence, rights, and other things our country is founded on.
I've never seen any evidence his IQ is over 100 and neither has anyone else. Being born on 3rd base doesn't make you a tremendous triples hitter.
One could argue that since HW Bush, the inmates have been running the asylum here in the U.S. Trump is what you get when Idiocracy becomes a documentary. He's a blowhard dipshit obsessed with himself. He's the dog that caught the car bumper and didn't know what to do. The whole situation is embarrassing.
The only question is will he keep the R party held hostage for another 4 years if he loses again. Sadly, the answer is 'maybe.'
