To be fair, I think that’s more indirect than direct.
Fair enough.  Is the Columbia student above saying "Death to all Zionists" more to your liking?

I could but it's cheap and easy to replace. I can have it done before the property management company even returns an email, much less sends a plumber.

Granted, I've never done it before. But how hard can it be?

I can already see the Leadership Meeting for the next protest/building takeover:

"Uh, guys, this time let's take over the food court, instead of the library, okay?"

If the school had a sense of humor they'd bring them Chick Fil A

None of its to my liking, but certainly clearer about who I should feel distain for.

Was reading something that pointed out a lot of this is kind of the “nothing to fear but fear itself” sort of thing. These things/people are mostly important because they’re great entertainment product. We all know they’re dinks. They are probably not representative of big chunks of even a super lefty campus. But they are great at being crazy, getting folks riled and drawing a whole bunch of freaked out government/admin response.

Lulz you live in a dreamland.

Sure, none of these college protestors are aligned to Hamas.  None at all.

yeah, no. I live in the real world. And I never once said none were "aligned to Hamas" - whatever the hell that means. I acknowledged that there might be some who say stupid sh*t in relation to Hamas at protests like "I support Hamas" or whatever- but that is not representative of the entire protest movement. Not even close. If there are some idiots saying that- it's likely far and few between. To try and paint the entire protest movement as such is well for lack of a better word, dumb. And really, who f'n cares if anyone says I support Hamas at some protest. First off- they have that first amendment right as Americans to say whatever the hell they like- even if it's something as fantastically stupid as I support Hamas. Secondly it doesn't actually mean or do anything. Because a few idiots at a protest say they support Hamas that means exactly what? Oh yeah, nothing. What does it actually mean in relation to the issue of why those protests are taking place in the first place: Israel's 6 decades long occupation and their war crimes in Gaza of the last 6 months.

And so because you post one video of one idiot voicing support for Hamas in a protest movement comprised of hundreds of thousands if not millions of people all across the world right now- that invalidates an entire protest movement? Oh no! These bad people said words! They said they support Hamas! Their words are violence! They said they support Hamas...OMG...let's just go ahead and forget about the actual crimes and atrocities that Israel has committed and the tens of thousands of innocent people Israel has slaughtered because: words a handful of random idiots said at a protest.

And to be frank I literally could not care less about what a handful of morons say at some protests about Hamas. Any discussion of that or giving it even a second of oxygen is just shifting the focus on what actually matters and it does not represent the entire protest movement and that does not invalidate that broader protest movement nor does it excuse anything that Israel has done.

Zionism does not = Judaism. There are Jews and Jewish organizations firmly against Zionism. Believe it or not.

Anti-Zionism does not = Anti-Semitism.

But anyone calling for death of anyone is wrong. People shouldn't be doing that. And did one Columbia student say that or was it an entire protest? When there are large gatherings....you're always going to tend to get jackasses saying horrible things. Let's not get our panties in a bunch because one person said one thing....

Also worth noting, most of the rest of the Arab world wants nothing to do with Gaza. Palestinians are also problem children in that space as well.
lol what? this is a fantastically naive thing to say.

You mean the corrupt highly oppressive familial/military dictatorship Arab states like Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia who the US bribes in various forms and fashions and who are all client states of the US? Gee wonder why they wouldn't want anything to do with Gaza. No duh.

The people of those countries would send troops to Gaza to support the Palestinians in a second if they could. They obviously can't because: those states are harsh brutal dictatorships that are client states of the United States. The majority of Jordan's population are ethnic Palestinians living in exile and their descendants. They aren't allowed to return to their homeland, even though many of them have documents proving property ownership for ions- from before the time of the British Mandate- yet any white American kid from Brooklyn of central or eastern european descent in his 20s that happens to be Jewish has the right to return on said land. Make that make sense.

Palestine is given all the money and food and meds.....but the good people there never see any of it.  No one else has needed to oppress the innocent Palestinians, their own "leadership" already do it.
yeah ok, so this is just patently false and is one of the more stupid things you've ever written, which is pretty astounding because you write A LOT of stupid sh*t.

Israel has been occupying and oppressing the Palestinian people since 1967 and they have been laying siege to Gaza since 2005, they control everything that comes in and out and have gone on campaigns of cutting off power, electricity, shipments of food, medicine- you name it from coming into the Gaza strip. Israel has deliberately tried to punish and starve the people of Gaza time and time again...this isn't anything new.

it's almost as bad as Rafah
the death and carnage in Rafah has yet to even begin. Israel will invade soon and slaughter the refugees living there who have fled because the IDF has flattened everything in the north. Netanyahu has vowed to invade Rafah with or without a ceasefire deal in place because: he's a psychopath. There are around 1.5 million people- mostly women and children- living in what is essentially a post-apocalyptic refugee camp. not to mention Rafah has the last remaining functional water utilities, food markets, hospitals in the entirety of Gaza (Israel destroyed every other one) and the aid organizations that are still left (many aid orgs have pulled out because: IDF has been assassinating aid workers) are all based/function out of Rafah.

it is going to be a complete and utter disaster.
