The one about pizza? Yeah, no shit.
(been away from my computer - had to catch up)
I rather enjoyed the discussion about pizza.
As you know, I'm a big fan of the Chicago deep dish style. I also really like Detroit style.
I'm not sure what that weird one was with a bunch of unmelted cheese, but if I ever encountered it, I'd give it a shot. Ya never know.
Only pizza I've ever had that I just really didn't like, was in France. It was early on in my first visit to the country, and I went to a pizzeria with some of my local workmates, but made the mistake of not asking them to translate and/or explain the menu, before I ordered. When it was ready, the pizza was brought out to me, and it had normal looking tomato sauce and cheese, but it also had sausages on it. But not crumbled sausage and not thin-sliced cross-cut sausage, the way we do pepperoni here in the states. No, there were just several long, thin, whole sausage links, laid out on top. I figured-- that's okay, it's not what I expected, but I can work with it. But then the server cracked a raw egg over the top right in front of me, and walked away. The locals explained to me that the warm pizza would cook the egg. But this did not happen.
I tried it, and ate maybe half, because I was pretty hungry. But suffice to say, I never ordered THAT again.
