Yeah, might be more for business drinks and tourists.

We go on occasion to the bar next to us, not often because it doesn't make much sense.  Their food is decent at least and drinks are normally priced, which is to say,
pricey.  If a place can break even on food and make money on alcohol, they usually are doing well.

This place just opened near us, we walked through, it was crowded, just looked at menus.  They have a bar in ths middle of it.

Politan Row at Colony Square

Politan Row is a talent-driven food hall platform coming to Midtown Atlanta. Founded in 2014, we create design-forward destinations for the culinarily curious.

I'm curious.

Oooh, a "design-forward" "talent-driven food hall platform" for the "culinarily curious"?

Sounds swanky... And pretentious...

(Sounds like the type of place I'd like lol...)

Yeah, the verbiage is pretty silly, I agree, the menus looked interesting and moderately priced.  I'm sure we'll try some places over time, the nice thing is I can get Vietnamese and the wife and get a pizza.

Entree Menu - Bun Mi Vietnamese Grill (bunmigrill.com)

Prices in the $8-12 range, typical for around here.

Burgers are a big deal around here, maybe they are most places.  We lunch on occasion at this out of the way place that has a good double cheeseburger for $8 with fries and a drink.  I think they get subsidized by the  office building they are in.

Certainly not a place I'd frequent. Might be a place I'd go if visiting Atlanta with my wife to be "fancy".

If someone else was really wanting to go there I might tag along, more likely if they were buying

it's not uncommon to find $2 domestic beers here.  5 bucks for a glass of decent liquor
paying more than $10 for a drink annoys me a bit

A couple in Cincy visit us once a year in fall.  We took them to a bar at the Four Seasons and I introduced them to Hennessey XO.  They loved it, and ordered two each.  The bar charges $48 per at the time.  He's a big Ohio State fan but likes CFB like we do here.  He's a patent attorney, which is a boring job but pays well.

They were coming this year, but cancelled to join us in Colorado when we're headed out there in October.

It's fun showing them around town.

The XO at our favorite French restaurant was $26 per, it went up recently though.

Average normal bar prices here are $4-8 for a beer, and $7-12 for mixed anything.  One place has $3 PBR, which the wife likes.

The Sweetwater brewery is worth a visit if you ever are down this way, it's very nice.

Why are there not more Refrigerator Perry's these days?

UGA used a DL last year on offense some, he even caught a TD pass.

I don't mean on the goal line, but couldn't a 275 pound super athlete make a good running back up the middle?

She likes lighter beers, the lighter the better, I think she doesn't like beer much.

Fortunately, I can handle 420 just fine, and she liked that.  We just got a 24 pack at Costco.

We are going here on Sunday, and then watching the fireworks from a hotel nearby. Got a room so we could sit on their rooftop.
