when we first had small children I also acquired a Golden Retriever puppy

I bought a book on how to train a puppy and was amazed at how much of it could also be used when raising children

one thing the book said which I have also applied to children was never call the puppy to you for discipline  instead always go to it that way the puppy will never be afraid to come when called

I applied that to my children as well and it has worked out great

I never could get them to use the restroom in the back yard however

I had one daughter that was easy, compared to the first daughter

well I wouldnt know cause she is the only one Ive ever had but as a baby she would sleep through the night

poddy trained very early and just a joy to be around

My son was quite different  as in he was all boy and was continually figuring out how to break things


if you didnt hear him it was time to go find out what he was doing cause his options were limitless

well we had already decided to stop at 2 but if we hadnt decided that the boy would have made that decision for us
