Kroger had flat iron steaks on sale so I picked up two of them.  I would just about prefer this to any other cut at any price, just about.  Seriously.

Phenomenal cut for the price. 

When used as a "steak", to me it actually slots in as my number two cut between ribeye (1) and strip (3). 

The expansion of MARTA hard rail into Gwinett county apparently has failed.  Folks in these outer counties make noise about this every so often, but the referenda fail time and again.

I like the flavor, and the leftovers make great stew or burritos or mixture with rice etc.

I can remember when they were $4.99/lb.

I can remember when inside skirt steak was $.59/lb.

I start getting badgers about "What do you want for Christmas?" about now.  I generally say "World peace" or "Harsher punishment for parole violators".

That could be me.  It isn't.  It won't be any time soon, but it could be.  Reaction thus far is not promising.

Wasn't a fan of the last Corvette, but they did a hell of a job with this one. It's stunning. Only nitpick I have on it is the taillights, but that's pulling hairs.

Our pre-game meal was always a big steak and a potato.  No idea what cut it was, but it did what it was supposed to do.  And a banana at halftime, lol.

Same- with a side of pasta.
