We've gone from politics to drunk guy at the bar...

Bojangles does that, and on a biscuit
Bojangles' chicken is awful.  I've heard of grades of beef and being suspicious of who gets the worst of that, but it's like Bojangles gets the last pickings of the chicken available.  It's thin and tough every single time I've been there.

I do miss Brown's Chicken from up North. Never was a Popeye's or KFC guy.

Best fried chicken I've ever had was at Puckett's in Nash Vegas.

I wish.  But seriously, I enjoy hearing what people think about the various issues of the day.  But miss me with the Caddyshack style "are you for goodness or badness" style of discussion where we chop up the country in two groups and then assign them a morality rating.  I realize it's easy to do because of our party system lines up, but it ain't close to reality.

I grew up on Brown's Chicken. Loved their deep fried mushrooms too.

Regarding a fried chicken sandwich, it's that fried chicken is delicious, but messy. Bread makes it easier to eat.

When I was a kid my uncle would have big parties where they'd play bluegrass, play euchre, drink beer, and always someone would bring a bucket of fried chicken.  I remember that being the greatest thing, though can't say I get the same thrill these days.

Typing killer in reference to Brown's reminds of my former home town of Palatine. Damn.

I went to Gus' in Memphis. They forgot my fried green tomatoes. Can't remember the chicken

We have Bojangle's hereabouts.  I may have eaten at one once, maybe.  Hattie B's is the best I've found in Atlanta since Greenwood's closed.  Mary Mac's Tea Room has good friend chicken but they closed and have not yet reopened.  That place is a local icon kind of place.
Is fried chicken a sandwich?

It has breading on both sides ...

Got home from transferring the kids to their mom and as I got out of my car I hear snarling and screams. Neighbor pitbull was attacking my elderly neighbor's golden retriever. Rushed over to help separate them. Dog broke the skin of the golden and her owner, so this won't end well.

Glad I was there, as I'm not sure they'd have gotten separated without myself and the pit's male owner working together.

Brown's, as far as I'm aware, is Chicago only. I believe Bojangles is spread throughout the south.

We have Gus's here in the ATX, it's good.

I've heard good things about Hattie B's and it is supposed to open here eventually as well.  At least, that's what was announced before the coronas.  Who knows, now?
