Running over people implies they’re threatening me, and if that was the case, I would, but I’d have to be pushed pretty far. 

I never suggested running someone over for "convenience", that is your own fabrication. As I stated earlier, people blocking roadways don't always know the circumstances of those using said roadway. The people that are LEGALLY using the roadway may have other factors that require them to be able to get to somewhere due to emergencies or other issues.

The fact of the matter is, there are plenty of areas that these people could use to express their opinions. These protestors are simply attempting to inconvience as many people as they can to get their opinions heard. And the last I knew, you had the right to express your opinion, you don't have the right to force others to hear it.

It feels like we’re transcending treating folks like speed bumps and going toward, “should protests inconvenience at all?”

And the answer is usually going to be “sort of.” The inconvenience grabs attention. Lord knows, folks like MLK faced similar backlash all those years ago. That makes protests a double-edged sword of raising awareness but also often pissing people off. (Thankfully, you don’t have to listen, and it seems having traffic backed up doesn’t make you do so)

How long was the question?  A long time is subjective.

Even if no one was threatening you, but you were blocked -- how long before you blow your stack, and do what is necessary to be on your way?

An hour?  4 hours?  8 hours?  Until you shit your pants?

I don't think I would run over human beings unless I was clearly being threatened.
