Yes and enough different targeted groups, when combined, equal the masses.

Nearly all political ads talk about how bad the other person is, not much about how good their person is, except in vague terms.  I know this is what works.

The UDs are mostly going to the polls holding their noses and voting for the LOTE.

My very skimming the notes read of Tulsi was that she kind of wanted to get weird too quick. Like there was a lane, but she wanted to drive outside the lines and spun out a bit.

My Schwab account earlier this morning showed a rather large drop in value.  I saw a note about some stock split thing with their ETFs.  I called, but the lines are jammed.  Anyway, a few minutes ago the situation resolved.  

It was a glitch, not very pleasant to see early in the AM of course.  I wondered if I had been hacked.

I wouldn't lump in the 2 groups.  Board members are just citizens that have to jump through a lot of hoops to get on the school board, and it's not paid like a job - much less than that.  

I honestly don't know why people do it - it's just a hassle and frustration.  But it's very different than administrators, and they do get elected to the board (at least everywhere I've been).

I check my accounts daily, usually, but rarely do trading.  I do move money around to pay the bills.  Often some CD may be maturing, I bought a fair number when interest rates peaked, especially for my wife.

I'm still not very clear on what FEMA should be doing that they are not, and I'm also still not clear on what they might be doing that is much help.  I understand they are a source of funding for folks with damage at some point.

We need funding.

There was still a ton of debris out there from Helene. North Carolina Covid and Migrants getting the bulk of funding right now.
