FYI, if need be we'll take it to a different thread, but I just felt that most of the posters here could keep this above board and civil.  Once it gets to the dungeon or whatever we call that board, it's toast. 

We do our best to try and keep this place going.

Most of us lean to the right, but I will say have a lot of respect for those who are more left.

I'd prefer to discuss policy over politics, but there is overlap there.

She comes across as being very level-headed, polished, and loves the Republic we have.

As for Cincy chili, the first time I had it, I was ... not impressed.  So, I didn't try it again for years.  Finally some folks at work wanted to go there for lunch, so I did.  The places serve other items like double deckers, but I tried it again, and it was ... kind of OK.  Back then, Blue Ash Chili had the same menus from about 1960, along with the same prices, I recall a 4-way was $2.20, so being a cheapskate, I started eating it more often, and magically, like beer, it started to taste pretty good.  I would take my kids there at times and my son would eat two 4 ways and half my girls' sandwiches and then want dessert.

I kinda sorta miss it on occasion now.

It's pretty easy to make. 

If you go back to what Max and I both wrote about Newsom, she’s that. She wants attention and power and changes her views in a never ending search for that. She believes in that which she thinks will be fit her. Supporting Syria’s Assad, and her views on Ukraine are atrocious. I could say more, but I’ll save it.

Looking forward to the ads being done.  They are all insulting to anyone with an IQ north of 10. 

They wouldn't spent money on them if they didn't work.  Makes you think about the masses, huh?

Ads are not, generally, geared at the masses, but the "undecideds", and the base (to ensure they go vote).  I guess that's about everyone though.  I find many/most issues that get discussed (to use the term broadly) are of no real interest to me (gay whatever stuff).  But it incenses the base, and can impact the UDs.

I live in an area rather famous for having a high gay population, but a person could walk around here for a week and see no evidence of it, maybe on gay couple out walking holding hands, maybe.  The crosswalks south of me are painted with the hay flag colors, they still work.

A key issue for me is the deficit/debt, and neither candidate is proposing anything that would make it better, at all.  THE key issue would be putting our troops in harm's way.  I think most of this "noise" about FEMA is made up political tripe, given that the government secretly is controlling these hurricanes with a Jewish space laser.
