Tuesday + 75¢ burgers = Happiness.
Every Tuesday in August, our 1/4 pound hamburgers are 75¢ with the purchase of a fry & medium drink.

People weren't meant to be able to communicate with millions of people at one time.  Just as many as are within earshot.

I know I've said that before, and radio and TV are brought up, but I still believe it.
Yep. The Internet and especially social media broke our brains.

Exactly, HB.

In other news, voters in New York and Missouri ousted squad nutjobs.

Minnesota didn't.

Looking at the runner up’s résumé, I don’t know that folks would be much happier with him policy-wise. no idea on his comportment, although I imagine some people would feel better on the religious front.

Same. I’m just saying that I imagine her replacement would also draw a lot of ire. Though probably less because chances are he would be at least a bit quieter and less strident.

never thought I'd see Mr. Bean trying to save freedom of expression, speech, and thought in the UK. Absolutely insane what is going on in the UK right now and has been for the past several years, the government arresting people for posting content on social media is the height of insanity.

thank god we told them to shove it in 1776 and whooped their monkey silly f*cked up tooth asses. I've only been to the UK twice and quite frankly I thought their country sucked and London is the definition of MEH. SO many better countries and cities in Europe, not worth wasting a second there. could do without 'em. f*ck 'em.

That speach was incredible. I am amazed at the laughter of those in attendence as they didn't seem to grasp the points he was making. Perhaps they thought this was just a comedy routine, but he made some very valid points that should be taken seriously.

Maybe some of it was also just uncomfortable laughter as well, people just not sure how to react to the gravity and conviction of his message.

Although from the signage in the background this appears to be some sort of free speech demonstration, so it seems like they should have expected exactly this type of speech.

And now having just read through Section 5 of the UK Public Order Act of 1986, I'm just flabbergasted at what those idiots have done.  Makes me even more thankful for the Constitution of The United States of America, and the thoughtfully and intentionally enumerated Bill of Rights.

She was running a rematch vs. Don Samuels, who may be the most unlikeable member of a Minneapolis city government that is rank with unlikeable characters.

Two years ago, she ignored his primary challenge and had to sweat out a photo finish. She did not make the same mistake twice.

Elsewhere on the Minnesota ballot, the Republican Senate candidate against Amy Klobuchar is six figures in hock on his child support. A deadbeat dad is the one thing that the Republican ticket was missing until last night.
